A pigment born from sound

In collaboration with Kremer Pigments I’ve transformed original Shellac Records from the Schmauder Collection, Phonopassion (Freiburg/Horben)— one of Europe’s largest Shellac archives — into pure pigment.

Each grain carries the echo of recorded music, reimagined as color and material. This pigment will live on through my new painting series about Paul Hindemith and collaborations with Artists & Friends — turning sound into form, and memory into creation.
